Forward Cardiff aims to encourage reasoned argument and debate concerning development proposals and opportunities which affect the City of Cardiff. We will champion future developments which:

1. Give the city a bold and distinct identity which can be recognised and admired globally;
2. Contribute to a coherent cityscape, well proportioned but visionary;
3. Actively engage with the public realm and encourage the formation of true communities; and
4. Uphold Cardiff’s historic legacy but aspire to a prosperous and cosmopolitan future for the city

Through appraisals, letters, representations and dialogue we seek to highlight both best practise and areas of failing, encourage informed discussion, and focus attention on ways in which the city's progress since the late twentieth century can continue.
